Look 'n Weep!!

These are shots of my 1963 Saab Sport as she currently is!  The car was retrieved from a farmers barn where she'd stood for about 5 years followed by a year on my drive...
Work is going to start on her this summer (english weather permitting!), the first decision has to be whether its worth trying to weld the shell up or try and find a solid '63 shell - your opinions are welcome!!
The shots were taken with a Kodak DC-120 digital camera courtesy of my work-place - has to be some benefit in working there :-)   They highlight the shortcomings of the digital camera, I have some 35 mm shots to put up when I get a chance to scan them in and make a good comparison between the differing media.
So - here we go (click on the images to see the full versions):

Sports Off-Side boot aperture This is the (to the UK !) off-side corner of the
boot aperture showing the corrosion that's penetrated the metal.
The lower edge of the boot lid - note the
corrosion along the full length creeping upwards!
The upper surfaces are in a similar state
Sports boot lid
Sports bulkhead and fuse box The offside rear of the engine bay - note the bad
corrosion along the joint of the bulkhead and the
cowl panel.
The chassis identification plate.
Definitive proof that the car is indeed a Sport,
one of only 7 in the UK.
Sport chassis plate - 1 of 7 in the UK
Sports dashboard The dashboard, c/w wood rimmed steering wheel and
a gaping hole where the clock used to be.
(Got one since from the E.M.S. Splash 'n Spares weekend)
The triple carb. Sport engine.  For those who are not familiar the black container on the N/S inner front wing is the oil container for the D.I. oiling system Sport Engine
Sport interior The interior of the Sport.  This highlights 2 points - the good condition of the headliner and the inability of the digital camera to cope with complex lighting scenarios!
The bull-nose front bonnet.  The rear edge is punched for the heat extraction louvres (since found under the rear seats)  Sports louvred bonnet
Sports near-side centre panel Corrosion along the lower edge of the centre panel and upwards.
The N/S inner wing looking straight down - look at the holes to the rear of the radiator bulkhead from corrosion. Sports near-side inner front wing
Sport near-side interior The near side front wheel arch - there is a gap all around the area where the arch meets the floor panel.
Again highlighting the cameras inability to cope with extremes, there is a gaping hole around the base of the inner wing.  Sport near-side inner rear arch
Sport off-side centre panel Surface corrosion all over the off-side centre panel and rear wing
The passenger door showing the generalized surface corrosion typical of the whole vehicle. Sport off-side door
Sport off-side interior Offside floor panel showing similar gaps to that on the near side
The lower edge of the drivers door showing the severe corrosion there. Sport - rear of drivers door aperture
Sport roof damage Damage to the roof panel - looks like it had a roof rack fitted at some time that has dented the roof panel.  There is penetration damage just to the right of the corrosion.
Last but not least - this is about half of what came out of the Sports boot!  Includes a brand new dynamo core, steering wheel boss, boot handle and brake discs. Sport - some contents of the boot
