Ex-Military Vehicles

small logo

Landrover Series 3 24v 109" FFR

The second vehicle to join the fleet - a Seres 3 109" FFR (Fitted For Radio) - built in December 1973 and delivered to the Army in January 1974 - but not issued until 1984! Army registration number was 55 FM 58.

Bought for £200 and trailered home in Feb 2007 she is running and needs a small amount of work to get an MOT - front X-Member needs patching and the indicator lighting needs sorting out. Everything else works fine. The intention is to use her as a run-about and tender for little Maud as the wife is geting fed-up with me carting big greasy lumps about in the back of her pet Explorer! Also means at the W&P show she can drive around to where we set up rather than having to leave her vehicle in the public car park and wal with all her kit!!

Additional work to follow is find and fit the N/S underseat fuel tank and reassemble the front end!! Then repaint her.
